During the press conference, they talked about the problems that accompany theater life, talked about the achievements of each of the theaters, and discussed plans for further cooperation. Each side noted that exchange tours are extremely important both for theaters and for spectators who have the opportunity on their stage to get acquainted with the work of artists from the city, located at a considerable distance from them.

The Irkutsk Theater brought five performances on tour, three of which are intended for the main stage, and viewers will see two productions on the chamber stage. On the main stage, viewers already managed to see “Dreams of Yermolai Lopakhin” - a performance staged by Chekhov’s “Cherry Orchard”, as well as Gogol’s “Marriage”. Both performances were a huge success.

The performance “Oscar and the Pink Lady” was held on the chamber stage with the same success. Ahead of the Arkhangelsk theater-goers is a meeting with the Italian comedy “Leap in Italian” and the play by A. Arbuzov “My poor Marat”.

In the coming days, Arkhangelsk artists will leave with their best performances in Irkutsk.
