MOSCOW. On September 25, the Theater of the Russian Army opened its 84th season with the play “Tsar Fyodor Ivanovich”, staged last year by the main director Boris Morozov. The troupe of the theater has already managed to go on tour in Chelyabinsk after a summer vacation.

This was the first meeting of TSATRA with Chelyabinsk spectators in twenty years. As in every theater season, this year will be rich in premieres. Literally next week, on October 1, viewers will see the first premiere performance - the directorial work of Olga Garibova’s “Husband for Pamela”, which was based on the play of the famous playwright John Patrick.

Another premiere is planned for November 29th - a performance staged by Alexander Bourdonsky. Soul Keyboard was written by Nino Kharatishvili, a playwright from Germany. The main role on the stage will be the favorite actress - Lyudmila Chursina. According to the actress, the play is complex, but extremely interesting, and therefore the work on the role captivates her.

Before the celebration of the new year, the premiere of a performance created for young theatergoers will take place. Director Andrei Badulin is working on staging the play “The Secret of Antique Watches”. The staging of a fairy tale by contemporary authors Vitkovich and Yangfeld Badulin himself wrote.

The plans of the main director began work on Shakespeare’s comedy. “Venetian scoffers,” but the premiere is expected only next season. Plans for the next season are also being discussed, since it is necessary to prepare in advance for the anniversary season, especially since the centenary of People’s Artist Vladimir Zeldin will also be celebrated.
