YAROSLAVL. Thanks to the long-term cooperation of the Yaroslavl Youth Theater with Alexandra Honk, a director from Bulgaria, the theater audience got the opportunity to play interesting performances created by her talents. In the evening, February 9th, the audience will come to the small hall of the theater to see Alexandra Honk’s new work - a production made by the director of an autobiography written by the great dancer of the beginning of the last century, Isadora Duncan “My Life” began her life on the Yaroslavl stage.

The performance with the laconic name of "Isadora" combined several types of stage art. In this production, dramatic dialogues and modern dances merged wonderfully organically, and fragments of various musical works help to assemble them into a single dramatic action.

The staging of Isadora’s book is also written by director Alexandra Honk. The image of the great dancer is revealed through her own stories about her life. The performance is built as dialogs with famous people who became part of Isadora’s life, combined with plastic displays of feelings that own each of the characters.

The performance does not become the usual retelling of the biographical events of the life of his heroine. First of all, his action, noting the milestones of Isadora Duncan’s life, talks about her work, about how difficult for a talented person to fit into the framework defined by society

This is a story about how art helped the dancer disasters accompanying her life - unsuccessful marriages, dead children. The result of this tragic life was an absurd, but not less tragic, death under the wheels of a car.

In the role of the great Isadora, the actress Olga Toropova, beloved by theater-goers, enters the stage.
