The play "Tsar Fyodor Ivanovich" - premiere in the theater of the Russian Army Automatic translate
MOSCOW. Theater of the Russian Army on Wednesday, the 3rd of April showing the premiere performance, dedicating the play "Tsar Fedor Ioannovich" to the anniversary of Stanislavsky. This dedication is associated not only with the 150th anniversary of the great director, the history of the Moscow Art Theater began with the creation of the eponymous performance.
The staging in TSATRA was prepared by the art director of the theater Boris Morozov. The work of Alexei Tolstoy in the theater was addressed earlier. For about twenty years, the play “Death of Ivan the Terrible”, which became an event in Russian theater life, was on the manger of the theater. The main role in the work of Leonid Heifets was played by Andrei Popov. This work of Andrei Popov was praised by critics as the highest level of acting achievement.
Boris Morozov had long planned to stage this performance, considering the play material that requires a special approach. It is difficult to undertake a work that has such a rich scenic history, on the productions of which famous directors and eminent actors worked.
And the material of the play itself is not easy, because it is both surprisingly emotional and filled with deep philosophy. Therefore, in the production it seemed difficult to express the essence of the author’s thoughts without going into excessive declarativeness. According to the director, a high level of dramaturgy of the play required the creators of the play and actors to work with full dedication.
The premiere held showed that the performance was staged at the highest level. An interesting set design, on which Mikhail Smirnov worked, magnificent costumes created by Elena Predvideleva and music created by composer Ruben Zatikyan complement each other. Actors Konstantin Deniskin and Nikolai Lazarev participate in creating the image of Tsar Fedor. Obviously, the performance is destined for a long life.
