On the stage of the Cherepovets Chamber Theater, the premiere of the play "Uncle’s Dream" Automatic translate
TERRY. On April 18, on the stage of the chamber theater, the audience was presented with the premiere of the play "Uncle’s Dream", staged by the director from St. Petersburg, People’s Artist of Russia Oleg Levakov.
Modern literary scholars believe that in the story of Dostoevsky, based on which the play was staged, another facet of the writer’s talent is most clearly visible - the ability to be a subtle satirist.
Many situations in the plot of the story clearly resonate with the text of The Examiner, especially the ending, in which all the ambitious plans of Moskaleva fail. Some places also resemble the famous Dead Souls.
Despite the fact that the play, in which almost the entire theater team is engaged, tells about the events in the province that took place 150 years ago, the situation is surprisingly similar to today.
As before, the external entourage is more important than the inner world, the hunt for rich husbands is carried out with the same excitement, and the intrigue in this difficult matter does not become less. Maria Alexandrovna, whose role is played by actress Tatyana Makarova, has only one goal in life - to achieve happiness at all costs for a smart, beautiful, but spineless daughter.
The audience appreciated the performance of the role of Prince Gavrila by actor Sergei Pavlov. His character is twice as old as the actor, in order to “grow old”, Pavlov needs to spend at least an hour in the dressing room, but such a complicated make-up is usual for him.
Typically, Prince Gavril appears before the audience as a feeble old man who is not easy to take every step. In the performance of Sergei Pavlov, the prince is limping, but at the same time deftly and quickly moves around the stage. For such a characteristic plastic, the actor found a clue in the text of the story, where one of the characters says that the leg was replaced with a cork limb by the prince.
