Spanish characters were shown by actors on the stage of the Novgorod Drama Theater Automatic translate
VELIKIY NOVGOROD. The regional drama theater on the evening of March 15 will show Novgorod spectators a beautiful Spanish legend, a romantic story of human love. The main director of the Novgorod Academic Drama Theater Sergey Grishanin staged the play “Waiting for the Seventh Moon”, the basis for which was the play of the same name by Alekhsandro Cason, a Spanish playwright.
The theater has already turned to the work of Alejsandro Cason, in 2009 the production of the play based on his play “The Savage” took place, for Novgorod audience this performance is familiar under the name “Taming of the Savage”. Sergey Grishanin decided that the play for which he undertook the production was so saturated with Spanish color that putting it on stage would become a very difficult task.
To help directing, he invited the director Ivan Kulyas, who lives in Valencia, to Novgorod. Ivan Kulyas was born in Ukraine, but since Spain has also become his homeland for many years, thanks to his work, theater actors have become aware of the traditions and life of the Spanish inhabitants. It was a difficult job, because the Spanish passions on the stage of the Novgorod theater have not yet raged. It is possible that the first experience of actors will be the beginning of a new stage in their acting career.
The performance is like a dream with a living reality. The story told in it is both sad and imbued with life-affirming sensations. In the house where the heroes of the play live, misfortune happened. Four years have passed, but as before, there is no sound of laughter or warm words. People have long forgotten how to express their love and tenderness. Here no one lives a real life, only the memory of the misfortune that has happened is real.
Only the unexpectedly mysterious Wanderer who appeared was given the opportunity to return love to this house, only she knew the real price of life.
