The Taganka Actors Theater presented the premiere of Mad Money Automatic translate

Two days off at the Moscow Theater of the Taganka Actors Actors, December 15-16, gave fans of A. N. Ostrovsky’s creativity an opportunity to plunge into the world described by the great playwright. On the small stage of the theater, premieres of the play “Mad Money”, staged by the young director Maria Fedosova, an actress of the theater, took place.

This performance is not only the premiere of the theater, this is the first directorial work on the professional stage of the actress of the Sodruzhestvo theater Maria Fedosova, as well as the debut of the student of the Moscow Art Theater school Marina Ivashkova as a stage designer.

Marina Fedosova already has experience in directorial work - at the Shchepkin Theater School, she staged the performance “Circus” with students, the script of which was written based on the films of the great director Fellini. The play “Mad Money” has become a new stage in the creative biography of Maria Fedosova, which already has excellent acting in performances that have taken a strong place in the repertoire of the Taganka Actors Theater, and works in the Anatoly Vasiliev Laboratory.

According to the theater’s chief director Nikolai Gubenko, in the work of Maria Fedosova, new facets of talent have been opened before him, actors who have known him for many years. Maria Fedosova in her work tried to follow the author’s text as much as possible, but at the same time managed to use what the author only meant in her play. The play was written by a playwright in 1869, but the director saw her characters at a later time - 1910-1913, when the first Russian millionaires who became the country’s pride began to appear.

There are no secondary roles in the performance, each of the actors plays remarkably, which during the performance, the audience confirmed with their applause.
