At the end of the festival “Flute Virtuosos”, which took place on December 13-17, a wide palette of possibilities of the ancient instrument was presented, and works of different genres were performed. “Bach Marathon”, Mozart’s quartets, compositions for piccolo flute, a concert dedicated to composers and soloists of the Imperial Mariinsky Theater - Professor of the Moscow and St. Petersburg Conservatories Vladimir Tsybin, Heinrich Soussmann, Ernesto Köhler. Teachers and students of music schools were able to take part in the workshops of Denis Buryakov, now the soloist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra (Los Angeles Philharmonic) and Metropolitan Opera.
