One of the most exciting moments of the concert is the joint performance by both groups of Italian sacred music of the 17th century. The works of Giovanni Paolo Colonna (composer and founder of the famous music school in Bologna) were voiced. The popularity of the Domestik choir, its victory in competitions is largely due to its founder Valery Kopanev, the creator of a universal technique that combines the techniques of Italian and Russian vocal schools.
The BACH Chamber Orchestra collaborates with many well-known bands and conductors, takes part in UNESCO cultural events. On October 6, the orchestra performed works of Russian classics: Tchaikovsky, Glazunov, Alyabyev. At the concert “Idyll for Strings”, “BACH” performed with the guest of the festival - Bulgarian conductor Dian Chobanov, delighted with vivid interpretations of the works of Janacek, Respighi and Mozart. The Lunar Pierrot program introduced the innovative works of Hans Eisler and Arnold Schoenberg.
The festival ended with the performance of the duet Eteria, which captivated the audience with a harmonious combination of saxophone and piano. Alexey Zakharov and Olga Kirzina offered a mix of great music of the past and the works of the avant-garde composer, who is called one of the best melodists in the world - Jacob ter Veldhuis, performing under the pseudonym Jacob TV.
