Italian and Russian poets awarded Bella Prize in Vicenza Automatic translate
HIVENZA. The award ceremony for the 2016 Bella laureates took place.
The selection of the Gallerie di Palazzo Leoni Montanari Gallery in Vicenza for the presentation of the prize is logical. The beautiful country on the Apennine Peninsula was not an abstract geographical concept for the poet. Lines “I was in Italy. Italy is bright, beautiful ”is dedicated to the motherland of ancestors who settled in Russia. One of them, Alexander Mitrofanovich Stopani, managed to choose the path of a revolutionary and become an associate of the leader of the world proletariat. The reason for his oblivion in the post-Lenin period was the phrase from his memoirs about the secondary role of Stalin in the events in the Caucasus during the revolution of 1905-1907. The Kremlev mountaineer failed to forgive the phrase quoted by Trotsky and forbade mentioning the name of the old Bolshevik who died in 1932.
In the baroque mansion, in which the laureates were honored, in addition to the masterpieces of Canaletto, Tiepolo and Guardi, a large collection of ancient icons from Russia is stored. The Bella Akhatovna Memorial Prize is awarded for the fourth time to young poets from Russia and Italy. The best Russian poem from those selected for the contest was recognized as Ziggurat by Denis Beznosov. In the category "Essayistics" preference was given to the work of Artyom Skvortsov "Three Modern Poems." The Italian Franca Mancinelli conquered the jury with her elegant poem “In the morning I dress and put on shoes through power” (Indosso e calzo ogni mattina forzando). In the nomination for the poetess from Tatarstan “Touching Kazan”, established in 2014, Yulduz Minnullina, the poet, translator, and editor of the children’s magazine “Yalkyn,” won first place.
