Violinist Klara-Jumi Kan performed at the Trans-Siberian Festival Automatic translate
NOVOSIBIRSK. The winner of the lucky fourth place of the Tchaikovsky competition performed at the Trans-Siberian Art Festival.
Commenting on the results of the first rounds of the XV Tchaikovsky Competition in July 2015, a member of the “violin” jury Vadim Repin emphasized the virtuoso skill and extravagant manner of playing the German violinist Clara Jumi Kang. The fourth place received by her and another favorite of the public Debarg was discouraged, but did not affect the number of concerts and engagements that followed. To the question of which of the performers Repin would like to see in the program of the next Trans-Siberian art festival, he called the name Kan. These plans were destined to come true. She came to Siberia with Ex-Strauss for three hundred years from the maestro Stradivari and performed brilliantly at several concerts - in Novosibirsk, Ordynsky and Iskitim. The price availability of tickets for performances in the region reminded the meritorious traditions of BBC Proms. The audience was able to appreciate the interpretation of the violin concert of the main hero of the spring - Sergei Prokofiev.
Kahn’s masterly mastery is understandable. One of her musical mentors was the legendary Zahar Bron - a teacher of Repin himself. She is called a child prodigy, since the violin seriously interested her already in three years. The subsequent victories in competitions, participation in festivals, and performances with the orchestras of Vladimir Spivakov, Gidon Kremer, Lionel Brengier confirmed the infallibility of choosing an instrument. If it weren’t for the annoying hand injury of 11 years, the consequences of which are still felt, Clara would not have prevented climbing the world violin Olympus. But she is only 19 years old, and life is just beginning.
