An apple, a ruble and a bottle of vodka for innovation and experiments in literature Automatic translate
MOSCOW. At the Non / fiction fair, Andrei Bely was awarded a literary prize.
The list of events at the Non / fiction fair, which was generous with events that shocked guests, sold out, book lines and impressions, contrived to include the presentation of a prestigious literary award. The first non-state prize named after Andrei Bely, established to support innovative literature, has been awarded since 1978. Over the past forty years, the social system has changed, a large country has broken up, censorship has gone underground for a couple of decades, giving way to publicity. Neither these events, nor the post-Soviet renaissance of recent years have affected the main principle of the award: assistance to authors who choose the thorny path of experiments and innovative searches. The prestige of the prize is fueled by not impressive cash prizes. Laureates traditionally receive only symbolic apple, ruble and a bottle of vodka. The main thing is creative realization, a chance to be heard, an opportunity to find like-minded people.
On December 3, the jury announced the list of winners in various categories. Laureate was one of the founders of the Andrei Bely Prize - translator, essayist and editor Boris Ostanin. The best translator was named Dmitry Vorobyov for translations from Swedish and Norwegian works by Christian Lundberg (Nils Kristian Lundberg), Gunnar Werness (Gunnar Wærness), Tour Ulvena (Tor Ulven).
In the nomination "Poetry" the prize was received by the poet living in Israel, Leonid Schwab for the book "Your Nikolai". The novel about Rome "Appendix" by Alexandra Petrova won in the category "Prose". The book of media theorist, candidate of philosophical sciences Mikhail Kurtov “Towards theology of code. Genesis of the graphical user interface ”was recognized as the best project in the field of humanitarian research. In his work, Kurtov uses the method of studying cultural homology or formal similarity, theological ideas in computer science.
