In "Yasnaya Polyana" will be held the art festival "Garden of Geniuses" Automatic translate
TULA. On the ninth of July, the sixth season of the Garden of Geniuses art festival kicks off in the historic site of the Tula region - the village of Yasnaya Polyana. The international cultural and educational event, which is held annually, is dedicated to the work of the great classic of Russian literature Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy. The festival will last until July 15, inclusive.
The organizers of the "Garden of Geniuses" emphasize that the project was created not only for literature lovers. As part of the art festival, its participants create such an unusual atmosphere, thanks to which the boundaries of the very concepts of “literature” and “literary creation” are erased. People who are interested in the printed word, get acquainted with the history of the emergence of certain works, imbued with the events of that era, when the first lines of the new novel were created.
In creating such an atmosphere, the transformation of cinema consciousness, role reading, concert programs and stage productions plays an important role. Therefore, the organizers of the art festival "Garden of Geniuses" in its framework for the guests and participants prepared not only a purely literary promenade, but also a rich theatrical program.
On the days of the cultural event, Leo Tolstoy’s richest creative heritage will be presented both from the stage and at special master classes that will be held by famous Russian writers and poets. In particular, in the “Garden of Geniuses” several theatrical productions will be shown based on Tolstoy’s great creations - these are the plays Adolescence, Aleksey Karenin, and The Final Stop. Readings from his immortal creations Anna Karenina and War and Peace will also be read. In addition, exhibitions of the originals of his works and other interesting events will be held.
