In Bryansk launched the action "Reviving the Children’s Memory Book" Automatic translate
BRYANSK. The historical and patriotic action entitled “We are reviving the Children’s Book of Memory” was initiated by the Bryansk Regional Children’s Library. The action was created as part of the events that will be held in honor of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 71st anniversary of the liberation of the Bryansk region from fascist invaders.
The Children’s Memory Book was created about ten years ago and, as the regional government reports, no one expected this work to resonate and attract great public interest. The main feature of the book is that it has no author - the publication is written by ordinary students of Bryansk schools. The attention of adolescents and adults to the book does not fade away even after so many years from the date of its creation. That is why library staff decided to create an action to revive the "Children’s Memory Book."
The essence of the action is that everyone can become one of the many authors of the "Children’s Book of Memory". For participation, it is enough to write on paper a story of a relative who took part in the battles during the Great Patriotic War, it is also desirable (but not necessary) to attach his photo to the letter and send the story to the Bryansk Regional Children’s Library.
The historical and patriotic action started in Bryansk on September 15, 2014, and lasts until April 15, 2015. On this day, it is planned to hold the presentation of the next volume of the “Children’s Book of Memory”.
