Pictures filled with the sun - exhibition "Artists of Tajikistan" in Kostroma Automatic translate
KOSTROMA. On February 9, the Romanov Museum opened the exhibition "Artists of Tajikistan." The exhibition hall of the museum presents works provided from her personal collection by Julia Verbitskaya, a Moscow collector and philanthropist. Julia Verbitskaya is the founder of the Museum and Arts Support Fund.
The exposition was first shown in Moscow, at the State Museum of the East. The exhibition combined the work of two painters, whose work is closely connected with Central Asia. Both authors spent most of their lives in Tajikistan.
Alexey Besperstov in his early childhood moved with his family to Tajikistan from Russia. His year of birth is 1923, he was a participant in the Patriotic War, and after its end he returned to Stalinabad (since 1961, Dushanbe).
Since that time, the life of Alexei Besperstov was devoted to painting and teaching. The exhibition presents works created during the life of the artist in Tajikistan. Their main part is landscapes of mountain valleys and portraits of residents of distant villages. At the exhibition you can also see the works of Alexei Besperstov, created on trips around the Crimea.
For Vladimir Glukhov, who is a student of Alexei Besperstov, Dushanbe is the homeland. The artist was born in this city in 1961, where he studied painting with Alexey Besperstov. This exhibition combines the work of a teacher and student.
In the 90s, Vladimir Glukhov from Tajikistan moved to Tyumen, but the theme of Central Asia remained the main one for him. His work is characterized by bright colors characteristic of the sunny edge. He combined color symbolism with elements of folklore. In his works, the artist creates a fantasy world where his almost fabulous heroes tell real life stories.
The exhibition is open until the end of March.
