Exhibition by the artist Tatyana Komlyakova "Patterns on Canvas and Stone" at the Ivanovo Stone Museum Automatic translate
IVANOVO. The Stone Museum, which is part of the Litos KLIO School-Museum, awaits art lovers until February 20 at a unique exhibition. The exposition consists of paintings made by the Ivanovo artist Tatyana Komlyakova, supplemented by exhibits stored in the stone museum. These creations of nature, usually stored in the image-in-stone museum hall, are patterned and landscape stones of various breeds.
Agate and jasper, flint and sandstone, quartzites of various shades make it possible to see patterns and ornaments created by nature itself, without the participation of human hands. Placed in a single space with the works of Tatyana Komlyakova, these minerals became a successful find for the organizers of the exhibition, giving the exposition a special philosophical format, creating a single composition.
The images created by Tatyana Komlyakova are made in a variety of techniques - from color and black and white graphics, to batik and embroidery. Images on stones were created by nature, however, they are perfectly combined with the artist’s creations. The guests of the exhibition are especially interested in the composition presented by the author under the title “Black and White Summer”, in which the chamomile field, starting on a stone, continues in the artist’s painting.
The amazing composition "Asia" combines an almost identical portrait, a portrait painted by the artist on canvas and a natural drawing on flint. The painting, made using the batik technique, is combined into the composition "Japan" with minerals that are the embodiment of traditional Japanese national values.
In total, the exposition of the exhibition “Patterns on Canvas and…” contains more than four dozen works by Tatyana Komlyakova and stones from the museum’s collection. Each of the exhibition compositions causes a desire to unravel the depth of the author’s ideas.
