The project "Exhibition of one painting" began to work in the art gallery of Kaliningrad Automatic translate
KALININGRAD. Employees of the Kaliningrad Art Gallery announced the start of the project "Exhibition of one painting." According to the creators of the project, the guests of the gallery will have to get acquainted with the works stored in her collection, which belong to the main directions of art of the 20th century.
Within the framework of the project, one picture will be exhibited monthly. Visitors to the gallery who wish to see the picture presented at the exhibition will simultaneously learn the history of the creation of this work and a detailed biography of its author. It is planned to show works of art that are not well-known, but worthy of the author’s ability to convey in her work fleeting moments of life marked by beauty.
The first work shown to guests of the gallery as part of the project was a painting by the artist Adia Sitdikova. “Still Life with Berries” is the only work of this author available in Kaliningrad, although the artist’s works can be seen in other museums of the country.
Adia Khabibulovna’s path to great art is unusual. Without education, the artist independently learned the basics of the profession of an artist. She presented her first picture in the late fifties, when the artist was 46 years old, and in 1964 Adia Khabibulovna became a member of the Union of Artists.
After almost ten years, the artist was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Bashkiria, and in 1983, Adiya Sitdikova became the national artist of the Bashkir Republic. To achieve such remarkable successes in painting, the artist was helped not only by her rare talent, but also by her enormous hard work.
Thanks to the new project, the residents of Kaliningrad will be able to get acquainted with some of the works stored in the collections of the art gallery.
