KALININGRAD. Since June 16, a personal exhibition of Oleg Pyanov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, has been opened in the exhibition hall of the historical and art museum. Oleg Pyanov can well be considered the indigenous Kaliningrader, although Oleg Alekseevich was born in Nizhny Novgorod. He lives in Kaliningrad since 1946, leaving the city only to study at the Ryazan Art College.
The artist expresses his love for the Kaliningrad region through creativity, therefore most of his graphics and paintings are dedicated to Kaliningrad and its inhabitants. More than sixty works of authorship displayed in the exhibition, Oleg Pyanov combined under the name "My City". Among the paintings, visitors to the exhibition will see portraits and landscapes, and graphic works represented by etchings.
Baltic landscapes have a special charm, perfectly conveyed by Oleg Alekseevich in his works. A wonderful colorist, able to create a kind world in his works, filled with kindness and sunny color, the artist invites visitors to share his love for his native Kaliningrad with him, take a walk along his favorite corners of the city, and then go for a walk further along its surroundings.
Although, when creating his works, Oleg Pyanov sometimes resorts to irony and grotesque, the portraits painted by the artist accurately embody the image of his hero. The works performed by Oleg Pyanov are characterized by carefully verified compositional solutions, the use of the play of light and shadow, and a harmonious color palette.
The artist so often shows his work that, in addition to exhibition diplomas, he has a unique award for a record number of exhibitions with his participation - the Nika honorary cup.
You can see the work of Oleg Pyanov in the museum until July 4th.
