The painting "Leningradskoye Shosse" returned home - after exhibitions in Rome and Moscow Automatic translate
The painting by B. F. Rybchenkov “Leningradskoye Shosse” from the collection of the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum returned home. Recall that in October last year, work was sent to Italy at the exhibition “Russia on the Road: By Air, Train, and Car.” This is a large-scale project on which the State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSIZO worked together with the Institute of Russian Realistic Art (IRRI) under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
During the exhibition in Rome in one of the main centers of art - the Palazzo delle Esposizioni Palace - it was visited by over 55 thousand people. The exposition "Leningradskoye Shosse" coexisted with other works from the collections of the largest museums in Russia, including the Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum. In total, the audience saw about sixty works of painting and graphics of the XX century, as well as the work of modern masters. In January 2016, the exposition moved to Moscow - to the halls of the Institute of Russian Realistic Art, where the exhibition worked until the end of May. She was visited by over 22 thousand people.
The painting “Leningradskoye Shosse” is dated 1935. You can see the “new” Moscow in the picture: trams and a trolleybus go along the route, people are in a hurry, new buildings have appeared in the constructivist style. The mood of the picture can be called lyrical. Harmony and picturesqueness - these are the properties that attract the viewer in the works of Boris Rybchenkov.
When unpacking the picture in the art museum. V. P. Sukacheva was attended by Fayruza Sabirova, a researcher at the State Museum and Exhibition Center "ROSIZO", who specially flew to Moscow from Irkutsk for this purpose. In the near future, the Leningradskoye Shosse will return to the museum’s exposition at its permanent place - in the hall where Soviet art from the 1920s and 1930s is presented.
