"Cat Exhibition" - portraits of cats by Dmitry Trubin in the Arkhangelsk Museum of Local Lore Automatic translate
ARKHANGELSK. A new family of cats, which was born thanks to the imagination and talent of the Arkhangelsk artist Dmitry Trubin, settled in the Arkhangelsk Museum of Local Lore. The Trubinskie Koti House of Chambers has chosen their place of residence as the Chamber of Gostiny Dvor, where on April 2 and admirers of the works of Dmitry Trubin and his colleagues came to the opening of the Cat Show.
At the ceremony there were also those who visited the exhibition specifically to be the first to get acquainted with the new inhabitants of the cat world. At each of the exhibitions, the artist shows his latest work. This time he exhibited 20 paintings. A surprisingly charming cat is looking at the guests from each.
Some of them are funny, some business ones so much that it seems that this serious cat has been placed on display to see who came to admire him. Dmitry Trubin himself says that among the cats he painted there are no evil ones, he created cat portraits, filling them with mischief and funny irony.
Dmitry Trubin received his professional education at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. After his graduation, the artist became an illustrator of books. His graphics adorn more than a hundred books from various publishers. Dmitry Trubin in 2014 was a participant in the All-Russian contest “Image of a book”.
The artist received an award for the series of drawings he created, which became an illustration for the book “Shamayka - the Queen of Cats”, written by Yuri Kovaly for teenagers. Dmitry Trubin himself also tries his hand at writing - he composes fairy tales and even released them with his illustrations.
The artist, presenting his new “Cat Show”, shared a secret with those present - in every portrait of a cat he embodies the human soul and character. You can verify this before the first days of May - cats wait for guests until May 2.
