Exhibition of views of Paris, written by the national artist of Russia Oleg Savostyuk, opened in Tambov Automatic translate
TAMBOV. The exhibition "Paris - Paris", presented at its opening in the museum of local lore by the author personally, Oleg Savostyuk, is waiting for visitors who want to see the corners of Paris through the eyes of the national artist of Russia, for whom the capital of France became a beloved city in the world as a child. More recently, Oleg Savostyuk presented his paintings from the Paris series to the residents of Kursk, and now the connoisseurs of Tambov’s painting have appeared with Parisian artists.
The exhibition displays 52 paintings in which Paris looks like a city of dreams and legends. Along with the opening of the exhibition, the museum also hosted a creative meeting with the national artist of Russia. Even the approaching ninetieth anniversary does not prevent Oleg Savostyuk from visiting the cities where exhibitions of his works are held in order to meet with admirers of his work.
At a meeting with the author of the paintings presented at the exhibition, many guests gathered. They actively communicated with Oleg Savostyuk, examined his works and even took pictures with the artist against the background of his paintings.
The painter said that during his childhood and youth, he did not even dream of going to Paris, the city he fell in love with in absentia - from drawings and photographs. However, a real miracle happened - after graduation, he not only got to Paris for a conference, but also met Pablo Picasso there. For many years Oleg Mikhailovich has carefully kept the drawing presented to him by the famous master.
On the views of Paris displayed in the exhibition, the legendary city appears as guests of the exhibition at different times of the year, morning, afternoon and evening. Differing in composition, technique and even mood, these works are united by a unique author’s style.
You can see the beautiful views of Paris in the paintings of Oleg Savostyuk on April 17th.
