"Meeting with Father" - an exhibition that opened in Vladivostok, combined the work of Timofei Kushnaryov and his daughter Automatic translate
VLADIVOSTOK. The Primorsky branch of the Union of Artists of Russia presented in its halls the exhibition “Meeting with the Father”. Her exposition was created from the multifaceted work of an artistic dynasty, the founder of which was a representative of a unique generation that began its career in the postwar years - Timofey Kushnaryov.
Initially, it was planned to prepare a personal memorial exhibition of Timofei Kushnaryov in the year of the Victory anniversary, since the artist was a participant in the war until its very end. However, later the organizers of the exhibition decided to present not only the legacy of the front-line artist, but to combine the works of Kushnaryov with the works of his daughter, the artist Lyudmila Ubiraeva.
Now the works of father and daughter are placed nearby, as it was in the workshop of Timofei Kushnaryov, where the path to the profession of Lyudmila Ubiraeva began. Many years have passed since the time when the future artist carefully watched the work of her father.
Lyudmila Ubiraeva still lives in Vladivostok, works as a teacher in a school where in the long past her father studied, and after years, she herself. The artist reached an enviable mastery in pastel technique, often showing her works at exhibitions. She herself selected for the exposition of her father’s work, doing so in such a way as to show all the versatility of his talent.
Although the exhibition was created as a joint exhibition, most of the exhibition space was devoted to the works of Timofei Kushnaryov. Among the hundreds of works performed by the artist in various techniques, an important place is occupied by works dedicated to Vladivostok and the Primorsky Territory. In his paintings, native Vladivostok appears before the audience surprisingly beautiful and diverse.
You can get acquainted with the works of the seaside dynasty of artists on February 3.
