“Masterpieces of the collection” - the third exhibition from the cycle dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Museum of Fine Arts, opened in Komsomolsk-on-Amur Automatic translate
KOMSOMOLSK-ON-AMUR. Since January 22, the Museum of Fine Arts has been waiting for visitors to the exhibition “Masterpieces of Collection”. This exhibition continues the exhibition project, which presents exhibitions created in honor of the upcoming holiday - the 50th anniversary of the museum. The aim of this project is to acquaint a wide circle of viewers with artworks that rightfully belong to the cultural heritage of the twentieth century.
Creating the exposition “Masterpieces of Collection”, the museum staff turned to the works performed in the 19th century and to the works whose authors created them most recently, at the beginning of the new century, on the 21st. In a single exhibition space, which completely occupied the two halls of the museum, housed the works of masters of art who worked in different centuries.
Visitors to the exhibition will see a unique schedule, which is part of the museum’s collection of theatrical and decorative art. The exhibition hall housed works by such recognized artists as Benoit, Bakst, Zaitsev and Korovin.
These graphic works are complemented by lithographs by K. F. Hunn, brought back to life by restorers. Funds for the restoration of these artistic values, which are over one hundred years old, were allocated by the museum. The museum got such an opportunity thanks to the grant received from the President of the Russian Federation.
A significant place in the exposition is reserved for paintings, the authors of which are world-famous artists. The creators of the exposition did not forget about their countrymen. Museum guests will be pleased to see the paintings of Ivleva and Lanovenko, Dolbilkin and Bykov presented at the exposition.
The exhibition is open until March 24, and on January 29 a solemn meeting will be held, where the anniversary of the museum will be celebrated.
