TAMBOV. On the eve of the previous weekend, the Tambov branch of the Union of Artists presented the Christmas Exhibition. This exhibition was the final event of the project “Colors of the Tambov Region”, held this year at the initiative of the Union of Artists of the Tambov Region.

Thanks to the project, exhibitions were held in the region, visitors of which were able to see more than four hundred works created by masters of the Tambov region. In addition to exhibitions, the project program included creative meetings with Tambov artists and master classes designed for aspiring artists who already have experience.

The opened exhibition has collected in the exposition works of art belonging to 50 authors. Among the 80 works participating in the exhibition, the majority of the authors present to the public for the first time. Several works were created shortly before the opening day of the exhibition.

Larisa Naletova, the author of a wonderful New Year’s still life, said that the reason for its creation was the purchase of a small flashlight that looked like a candle, as well as rays of light from it that fell on the Christmas tree branches. The Christmas theme, uniting the exposition in the exhibition space of the hall of the Tambov branch of the Union of Artists, is devoted to most of the works.

Winter landscapes made in various techniques create a festive mood among the visitors of the exhibition. The beauty of the native land, appearing on the canvases of Tambov artists in the form of the central streets of the city, estates belonging to famous compatriots, snow-covered houses of small streets, evokes special feelings among guests.

Since this exhibition is also a report for Tambov artists, it also includes works made this summer and in the open air. So the exhibition became not only festive, but also all-weather.
