Spring landscapes at the personal exhibition of Ilya Ruban in the museum. Pushkin Automatic translate
MOSCOW. “Spring in the autumn rain” - in order to see the canvases filled with the sun in the middle of the bad weather, it is enough to come to Arbat, where an exhibition with such an unusual name is opened in the exhibition hall of the Pushkin Museum. The author of the paintings, where nature at any time of the year is warmed by the glare of the spring sun, is Moscow painter Ilya Ruban.
The presentation of his solo exhibition was held on October 8, and the next day every visitor to the museum could see the works of Ilya Ruban. For display at such a prestigious exhibition site, the artist selected more than one hundred of his works. The variety of genres in which the painter works combines a special inner light that fills his paintings.
No wonder Ilya Ruban, when asked about the closest direction of fine art for him, always recalls the French impressionists - Claude Monet, Pierre Bonard. Their works are written in a bright, joyful palette, which is also characteristic of the works of Ilya Ruban.
Most often, the painter turns to landscapes in his work. It can be not only beautiful corners of nature, but also urban motifs, however, most of them were written in the spring, when everything around is as if updated. A lot of paintings presented in the exhibition are devoted to the theme of childhood. The inspiration of children’s portraits makes some characters look like the Little Prince, only here in the place of the Fox, the beloved cat of Ilya Ruban sometimes appears.
Ilya Vyacheslavovich has a considerable number of exhibitions on his account. He began to participate in them while still a student of the art and graphic faculty of Moscow State Pedagogical University. The painter’s works can be seen in museums in Moscow and Nizhny Tagil, in Ferapontovo, where the museum of frescoes is located, in private collections.
"Spring in the Autumn Rain" can be admired until November 8th.
