A new exhibition project has unfolded in the space of the South Gallery of the Sochi Marine Station Automatic translate
SOCHI. The southern gallery of the Sochi Maritime Station has now become not only a part of the historical building. It turned into a new exhibition space, where on August 25 an exhibition unfolded, the organizers of which were the holding “Burevestnik Group”, the metropolitan gallery “11. 12 ”and young artists representing Sochi.
The basis of the exhibition project was the work created by Maria and Vladimir Semensky and Alexei Alpatov. The place for demonstrating the project was chosen for a reason - the fantastic worlds born in the paintings of artists are in many ways similar to the amazing landscapes of the Sochi environs.
Maria Semenskaya writes her canvases in a certain sequence, linking the past with the present in their plots. The artist weaves her own image into the plot of the paintings, with the help of this technique showing her attitude to the plot.
Maria began to study painting in Kurgan, where she graduated from art school. Then followed her studies at the St. Petersburg Academy of Design. Recently, Maria Semenskaya presented her work at the Vinzavod Arts Center, where her personal exhibition was held.
With Vladimir Semensky, the path to art was begun at the art school of Krasnoturinsk, continued at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. As a student, Vladimir began to participate in exhibitions. One of his last exhibitions held abroad was held in the USA in May of this year.
Original works by Alexei Alpatov always attract the attention of viewers. In his paintings, the author uses the play of light and reflection. The peculiar technique that Alexei uses makes his canvases look like photographs. The artist is a Muscovite, but mastered the mastery of painting on his own. He began to participate in exhibitions in the nineties.
