VLADIMIR. A unique exhibition was opened in the Center of Fine Arts of the city of Vladimir. At the opening of the exhibition, Andrei Alexandrov, head of the Center for Fine Arts, noted that the purpose of the creation of this exhibition was to present the art lovers of Vladimir artists whose names sounded less often, however, the quality of their work is no less significant.

Usually, artists are honored at the opening of the exhibition, but for the creation of this exhibition, you should thank the collectors who have kept in their collections the work of graphic artists and painters, many of whom are no longer with us. The exhibition brought together the works of more than 40 authors.

Among them are professional masters who were members of the Union of Artists, amateurs whose works were rarely seen at exhibitions. High artistic merits allowed these works to take pride of place in private collections located in Vladimir, Kovrov and Moscow.

Most of the works - landscapes, still lifes, genre paintings, were performed in the middle and end of the last century. There are works of our contemporaries.

The exhibition can be visited until mid-August, it will be supplemented by several more works.
