KALININGRAD. The opening ceremony of the exhibition "The Art of Seeing the World" was held at the city art gallery on June 17. Her exposition consists of the best works of art masters of the Kaliningrad region, which they created over the past five years. A large-scale art exhibition became a dedication for the anniversary of the regional organization of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation.

This year, the Kaliningrad branch of the Union of Artists celebrates its 65th anniversary. The westernmost region of the country is characterized by special traditions of creativity, developed due to the uniqueness of the creative environment that has developed in the Amber Territory.

Almost all artists who create their works in the space of the Kaliningrad region moved here from different regions of Russia. Many were formerly residents of the former republics of the USSR.

Now the Kaliningrad organization of the Union of Artists is represented by more than 90 artists, 15 of whom have the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In their work various creative directions and professional schools are presented.

The exhibition, created for the anniversary of the organization, amazes with the scale of the project and the variety of author’s handwritings. Each of the authors who submitted their works at the exhibition has its own style and its own direction in art.

On the opening day of the exhibition, artists of Kaliningrad were congratulated on the anniversary by representatives of the administration, museums, colleagues in the profession, as well as admirers of their work. The opening of the exhibition was timed to coincide with the presentation of well-deserved awards - 30 artists received letters of thanks and letters of appreciation, and silver medals with the inscription “Spirituality. Traditions. Mastery. "
