SIMFEROPOL. An exhibition project began to work in the Simferopol Art Museum, called the “Solar Palette of Crimea”. Within its framework, on June 5, three art exhibitions were opened simultaneously, each of which awaits visitors until the end of the current month.
At the exhibition “Romance of the Eastern Crimea”, Crimean viewers will first get acquainted with the work of Andrei Kirgizov, presented by twenty-six works, each of which captured the landscapes of ancient Cimmeria - such a name was once the territory of East Crimea. Art historians attribute these works to the artistic trend of "new romanticism", the founder of which is their author.
In his paintings, Andrei Kirgizov captured the landscapes of Koktebel, the magic of moonlit nights over the old Karadag, the New World, where the artist saw unusually bright colors of the sunset. With his works he added to contemporary Russian art a special poetic vision of Crimean nature.
Each of the landscapes included in the exposition, whether it is painting or watercolor, is characterized by simplicity of images, a bold color palette and completeness of the composition. The artist’s works are successful at exhibitions, they are acquired by many museums and collectors.
The second exhibition is dedicated to the work of famous artists belonging to a unique artistic environment that developed in the early twentieth century in the Crimea. The exposition of the works of Crimean artists became a kind of review of the works of art masters who combined the traditions of various art schools in their works.
An exhibition was located in a separate room, where the exposition consists of new arrivals to the funds of the Simferopol Museum. Most of them belong to the brush of young artists.
