The anniversary of the famous Nizhny Tagil artist Vilen Mukharkin was celebrated with his personal exhibition Automatic translate
LOWER TAGIL. One of the city’s most famous artists, Vilen Mukharkin, celebrated his 90th birthday on April 6th. In honor of the anniversary, employees of the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts prepared a personal exhibition of the hero of the day, which received the first visitors on April 8th. Although the artist has not been painting recently, he is still considered the leading master of painting in Nizhny Tagil.
At the opening of the exhibition, which housed still lifes and landscapes of different years, written by the artist, Vilen Dmitrievich read his poems on the war, and then answered the questions of those present for a long time. These verses sounded not only in honor of the approaching anniversary of the great Victory. The artist is a veteran of the war ended for him along with the capture of Budapest. His military exploits are marked by awards, among which there is one of the most honorable - a medal for courage.
Vilen Mukharkin received his professional education after the war, enrolling in the Nizhny Tagil Art and Industrial College. He graduated in 1952. This course was one of the first issues of the art school. For most of the graduates of this year, life was devoted to creativity. Many became famous artists, teachers of the art of painting.
The work of Vilen Mukharkin became a phenomenon in the fine arts of the Ural region, which largely determined the “face” of Nizhny Tagil painting. The exhibition exposition is composed of the artist’s works stored in the collection of the art museum. Visitors especially like the landscapes created by the artist in the Crimea during creative trips. Many landscapes were painted by Mukharkin in their native places, in the Urals. The nature here is not as bright as in the Crimea, but surprisingly poetic.
The exhibition of the artist-jubilee is open on May 10th.
