In those years, a cherry orchard was located on the site of the theater, through which a novice artist went after classes.
Mikhail Bychkov, director of the Chamber, told the first visitors of the A4 exhibition that this is the third exhibition for the theater’s recently opened art gallery. Recently, they presented an exhibition of paintings by Olga Kulagina, filled with a riot of color from her picturesque abstractions. Now the gallery houses the graphics of Yuri Harikov, an artist whose work was awarded prestigious awards.
The artist is known to Voronezh viewers for the play “Cain” staged by Mikhail Bychkov. Yuri Harikov created original costumes and set design for this production. In the artist’s creative baggage, registration of more than 150 performances in theaters of various cities, including the capital.
The A4 exhibition, which opened in the Kamerny Gallery on April 22, runs until the end of May.
