"Facets of Nature" - an exhibition of landscapes by Sargis Gogoryan in Smolensk Automatic translate
SMOLENSK. “Facets of Nature” - under this name, Sargis Gogoryan, a graphic artist and painter from Kaliningrad, presented his personal exhibition to the residents of Smolensk. The opening of the exhibition took place on March 4 at the Tenishevs Exhibition and Convention Center. The exhibition hall housed 18 landscapes radiating peace and balance. Particularly attractive are light-filled seascapes.
In each of his paintings, the artist created an amazing image of nature, reflecting the beauty and harmony of the world surrounding the painter. Gogoryan’s paintings combine subtlety and grace, complemented by a touch of elegance inherent in this remarkable painter. The radiance of the light emitted by any canvas made by the artist gives his work magic.
Sargis Gogoryan writes with a light, gentle brushstroke that gives his landscapes realism. It seems that the water, grass and trees are slightly vibrating from the light blow of the breeze, and the artist is afraid to violate the idyll he spied. Even the sky in Gogoryan’s paintings does not look like a backdrop. It is as lively as the whole landscape, and coinciding in the color tonality with the colors that dominate the foreground of the canvas, it makes the color scheme of the painting a single whole.
The artist happened to get in touch with the cultural heritage of different nations. He was born in Georgia, studied painting in Yerevan, where after graduation he was a teacher at school. Then his workplace became a film studio, where Gogoryan worked as an artist. Since 1987, a member of the Union of Artists.
Now Sargis Gogoryan is a resident of Kaliningrad. He often shows his work at exhibitions, the artist’s work is of interest to private collectors. Many of Gogoryan’s paintings were acquired by Russian museums.
Gogoryan’s magnificent landscapes can be seen until March 22.
