The exhibition organizers gathered in the exhibition hall more than 70 works performed by Pavel Maskaev at different times. The last works of the artist were created in 2013. His creative heritage presents paintings and graphics. He painted landscapes that give the audience harmony and tranquility, still lifes that perfectly convey the mood of the author.

Pavel Maskaev tried himself in oil painting, painted in watercolor, worked in mixed graphics. In whatever technique the artist worked, he always strove for excellence. For the past ten years, Maskaev has devoted himself to creating large-scale spiritual diptychs and triptychs. These works were shown at prestigious exhibitions, where they were awarded.

The artist traveled a lot around the country, several times was in the North of Russia, in the Volga region. He also visited the Pamirs. Constantly traveled with friends to Khvalynsk, becoming the founder of the annual "Khvalynsky plein air", celebrating 26 years this year. At the opening exhibition presents works stored in the artist’s family, supplemented by works from private collections. Many works of Pavel Maskaev are kept in museums.
