SARATOV. The opening of a new exhibition in the Aesthetics Gallery, which took place on November 11, as usual, attracted the attention of connoisseurs of beauty. This time the exhibition, called "Around the landscape", presented the paintings of Andrei Soldatenko, a famous Saratov artist.

The exposition included approximately sixty paintings, among which landscapes with images of the Volga region, beautiful views of Altai, as well as the amazing Montenegro filled with the sun. However, the artist created his best work on dull, cloudy days. These works are characterized by restraint of color, the use of a painted surface as an element of composition.

Andrey Soldatenko selected works of different years for the exhibition. Some of them were completed this year. The canvas, written in 2014, presented under the title "Over the Volga", perfectly conveys the mood of the author, and the depth and beauty of the sky over the Volga open spaces is unique.

Three winter landscapes, also painted in the past year, are located in different places of the exposition, but could well be located nearby, forming a triptych. The artist himself says that the landscapes, called - "Landscape with boats", "Snow fell. November ”and“ First Snow ”were completed by him recently, almost before the exhibition. The desire to hang paintings next to him arose, as they were written one after another.

The canvases dedicated to Montenegro remind of sunny summer days and carry the special energy of this amazingly beautiful European country. These paintings are also dated to 2014.
