The exhibition project “Russian Art Week” is unique in that it provides an opportunity for aspiring artists and even art lovers to share their creativity and prove themselves. Participation in such projects can serve as an initial impetus, a creative breakthrough and, possibly, a chance to draw a ticket into the professional world of artists. When you go to an exhibition in the Central House of Artists, you are constantly surprised at how many different ways to convey your ideas or mood with the help of an image.
Avant-garde artist Vladimir Vinogradov , designer of the Art Week project, has been exhibiting since 1978, a member of the Union of Designers of Russia, travels a lot and holds master classes in various cities around the world.
- The strongest or most tender feelings in manual work are immediately transferred to the canvas. They are unique. The inability to take a double is a step towards eternity, to recognition. And for the commodity market, gallery owners, it is very profitable to get exclusive from the untwisted author. Here you have the format, technology and spy - artists are forced to do work that is recognized by the buyer - this is the general attitude of the galleries to the artist who has become popular. The owners of the exhibition venues know what is being sold and impose certain relations on the creator. The artist differs from the designer by the uniqueness of the created works, the designer works on circulation, brand, style. In the Central House of Artists in the "Weeks", artists are allowed to throw out any emotions without restricting creativity to styles, genres, materials and membership in the Unions.

Irina Glazunova , interior designer:
- I started painting not so long ago, already in adulthood. From a simple hobby, it grew into a necessary vital need, or, even, a vocation. Painting is happiness for me! With the help of her, I found the long-awaited harmony, which I strove for a very long time. By first education, I am an economist. In 2008-2010 studied at the "Academic School of Design" with a degree in "Designer Interiors" and in the walls of this institution discovered painting. The theme of sail and sea did not accidentally arise in my work. The inspiration for me was my husband’s passion for sailing. He is a member of many sports regattas.
In my opinion, painting should give joy and positive emotions, so I use bright, rich colors in my palette. I like pronounced, complex textures, so I use a brush with a palette knife, sometimes fingers, as well as additional materials, such as sand, flour.

Pavlovskaya Svetlana , a teacher of painting, graduated from the faculty of applied art at MIT. Since 2012, he has been actively participating in all ARTWEK International Competitions in different countries and cities: Venice, Tehran, Prague, Riga, St. Petersburg.
- Art Weeks give me the opportunity to show my work around the world, participating in exhibitions in absentia. I am especially pleased that I can give this opportunity to my students.

Konstantinova Kristina , student of the faculty of applied art of Moscow State University. A.N. Kosygin.
- The reality surrounding us is an excellent object for working on the stylization of natural forms. From the available unnecessary materials, artificial leather, I managed to create a completely different world. White color is chosen to abandon the usual perception of the sea and, with voluminous details, direct the viewer’s imagination to stylized corals, fish and waves.

Surzhina Diana , artist, correspondent:
- At exhibitions, I look for something with my eyes that would surprise me… Execution from unusual materials, the use of modern technology or simply high quality. The mission of the artist: stand out, create new in the video series. In the Central House of Artists at "Art Weeks " there are many such works, the ideas and immediacy of amateurs are complemented by the skill of professionals.
