The plot for her was an old Russian legend, based on which the artist painted a picture depicting a powerful hero who entered the battle with the bull. Many canvases created by the painter became the property of the country, entering the gold fund of Russian painting.
On the eve of the anniversary of Grigory Ugryumov, the specialists of the Russian Museum did a great job on the restoration of paintings belonging to his brush. Now, visitors to the exhibition will see updated paintings filled with freshness and brightness of colors, previously hidden under darkened with time varnish.
