On October 1, an exhibition contest was organized in the exhibition hall of the city art museum, organized with the help of the administration and cultural institutions of the Belgorod region. The festival is held in Belgorod for the second time, for the first time it was held in 2011, when the seventieth anniversary of the Belgorod master was celebrated. His works were awarded gold medals at international exhibitions held in Leipzig and Brno.

Stanislav Kosenkov became one of the artists whose work showed how high the level of domestic graphic works was in the 1970-1980s of the last century. S. S. Kosenkov passed away in 1993. Two years later, the opening of the Museum-Studio of the artist took place in Belgorod.

The works of 183 authors were submitted to the competition, the best works were awarded with prizes awarded to the winners at the opening ceremony of the exhibition. The applicants who submitted their works to participate in the Belgorod competition had no restrictions in the areas and techniques of art.

Therefore, in the expositions of the exhibition there are almost all types of creativity - from painting and sculpture to ceramics and author’s dolls. So that each of the visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to comfortably consider all the work, the organizers prepared two exhibition venues. The Art Museum housed painting and sculpture, and the remaining works of art are shown to visitors in the Exhibition Hall "Homeland".
