Asked by journalists about the reason for choosing such an unusual subject for his works, Igor Klyushkin rephrased Shakespeare, calling the whole world a circus in which there are many oddities and paradoxes.

Just as “Big Top” is a temporary room where the life of circus actors takes place, so the artist’s paintings depict the life of mankind, where love and hate, laughter and sadness, brilliance and poverty coexist. This is what the artist tries to express on his canvases.
