Exhibition "Beginning of the First" by Kirill Nikitenko Automatic translate
From September 26 to October 13, 2014, the Library of Ukrainian Literature (Moscow, Trifonovskaya 61) hosts the exhibition "Beginning # 1" - this is the first pictorial project of a professional photographer Kirill Nikitenko . Our correspondent artist Surzhina Diana wandered into the sounds of electronic music by Rmine in the library’s night halls.
The circles of paintings illuminated by searchlights either flickered with strange spots of green continents and oceans, or seemed like emblems of reigning persons or internal organs. Artist Kirill Nikitenko spoke about the idea of his works:
“ The beginning of any painting is an abstract element - a point. Groups of points that fit into the composition have internal stress. I wanted to show how color spots with different rhythms will create different emotional states in the viewer. With all the variety of professional experience of the photographer, immersion in painting exercises gave me a new impetus in personal development. The stumbling block, the system of images, the moment of spiritual emancipation - this was able to be reflected in the current exhibition… ”
Exhibition curator Irina Golub formulated the concept of the exhibition as a combination of place, time and reality:
“ I am glad that the combination of personal metaphysical and spiritual experience combined with an excursion into the history of art - one way or another, Kandinsky set a lot in the picture, and even an indirect attitude to the main trends does not prevent a thoughtful deepening into the mystical context of this project. ”
