On September 3, in the capital’s exhibition hall, owned by the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, an exhibition of artworks performed by artists in open air, which took place in the Lipetsk region, opens. 80 of the best works created by artists who came to the Lipetsk region from the central regions of Russia were selected for the exhibition.

The Lipetsk region has been gathering artists for open air for nine years. Each of them is dedicated to various memorable dates that are important in the history of the country. Plein airs were held dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory, the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty, the anniversary of the city of Yelets and other notable dates in our history.

Over the years, trips to the amazingly beautiful areas of the Lipetsk region have become extremely popular with artists, turning into a real brand. Oleg Korolev, the head of the Lipetsk region, put forward the idea - to send a creative “landing” to each of the regions of the region so that the brush masters could capture the most wonderful corners of the Lipetsk region on their canvases.

The Lipetsk region is famous not only for its amazing beauty of landscapes, but also for its unique architectural ensembles. The head of the region noted that it is very important to show the sights of the region to fans of art throughout the country.

Thanks to the close cooperation of the region with the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, exhibitions following the results of the Lipetsk open air are held not only in various regional cities, but also in Moscow. The opening of the new exhibition is planned with the participation of the national artist of Russia Andrei Kovalchuk, who heads the board of the Union of Artists.

Representatives of the regions and the artists who participated in the open air will also come to the opening day.

A musical greeting from the guitarist Aleksey Kiselyov, a graduate of the Yelets art college, will sound for the guests.
