The artist constantly returns to the places where he already painted, paints them again in different weather, with changed lighting.

Each of his new compositions looks different, but the main thing that unites them is naturalness combined with riot of color and freshness of perception. Many of the paintings of the painter depict the sea.

Seascapes painted by Sovetnikov are marked by a special love of the author. They are bright and expressive, the artist experiments a lot, trying to capture on his canvases all the shades of colors created by the play of waves and light. Looking at these canvases, you can feel the breath of the sea.

The artist’s works can be seen in the museums of Simferopol and Feodosia, they participated in numerous foreign exhibitions. Several works of the artist in 1999 were acquired by the New York Museum.
