"Talk about love" - the work of artist Boris Khromov in the hall "Warsaw" Automatic translate
MOSCOW. In the exhibition hall "Varshavka", located on Nakhimovsky Prospekt, on August 13, artist Boris Khromov, with his paintings, has been talking with visitors to the exhibition about love. In each of his compositions there are main characters - He and She. They find each other in outer space, tend to meet, flying over ancient Russian cities
Boris Khromov says that his work originates from the traditions inherent in Russian icon painting, complemented by a constant artistic search, characteristic of avant-garde art of the 19-20 centuries, not only Russian but also European. The artist believes that the picture cannot be a static image.
Each viewer’s view on the canvas makes the picture alive, it develops and transforms. The artist perceives this process as developing in a spiral, similar to the development of the Universe. Obviously, art critics share this perception of their work by the artist, often calling the canvases created by Boris Khromov “small universes”.
The exposition includes 26 paintings created by artists in different years of their work. In an interview with reporters, Boris Khromov said that he had written a large number of paintings depicting the theme of love for the nature of his homeland, its small towns and culture.
However, the main theme of his work was the relationship between people living for the sake of finding his soulmate. A feature of paintings on the theme of love, written by the painter, is the image of flights. The artist believes that it is impossible to convey feelings by drawing people sitting or lying.
The exhibition is open until September 10th. During her work, every Thursday you can visit literary master classes, the participants of which will tell and write about their love.
