MOSCOW. On August 15, 2014, in the studio of Mikhail Korolyov on Vinzvod, a regular meeting of the Platform Discussion Club was held, dedicated to the search for new trends in Russian fine art.

Exactly a year ago, the Platform Discussion Club was created. Every month, meetings are held at which professionals in the field of communication practices discuss current issues of our time. This project was joined by the Internet project Gallerix.ru, Mikhail Korolev Studio, Center for the Study of Russian Culture. The meeting on August 15 was devoted to the problems of fine art, the search for forms and meanings that correspond to the coming time. The authors of the project proceeded from the premise that now the “sums of technology” are entering at a time when current meanings and current images, forms, language are late. A new reality is coming. New technologies come to the visual arts, such as computer graphics, 3D. There is a powerful change in reality, a new world wants a new word. Here, with such questions, the organizers turned to the artists.

The artist Vyacheslav Korolenkov, presenting his works, said, “I just work. Creativity is my philosophy! ”Vyacheslav’s paintings fascinated experts. There were many questions. What are the motivations? How do the stories arise?

Artist Raya Koposova showed her collection of glamorous furniture. She told how long and scrupulously she approaches the implementation of her projects.

Tatyana Noryk creates her works on birch bark. “I do not know what will happen to me when I pick up birch bark. But there will be a church there.
