YEKATERINBURG. The Gamayun Museum Center on June 20 opens an exhibition of Tatyana Rusinova, an artist from Krasnoufimsk, presented to the audience under the name - Reflection of the Soul. Fans of painting in the style of "naive" have long been familiar with the work of a talented artist.

However, a significant amount of the works presented at the retrospective exhibition, created by Tatyana Rusinova from 1980, will allow visitors to the Gamayun Center to more fully see how the artist’s talent has developed over the years, what theme she prefers. The exhibition includes more than two dozen works, among which are paintings and graphic works.

The artist has been painting since childhood, but did not try to get a professional art education. After graduating from a teacher training school in her native Krasnoufimsk, Tatyana Rusinova devoted her life to raising children. She worked as a teacher in elementary grades, as a teacher in kindergarten. The time left from work, as in childhood, was devoted to drawing.

The artist began her work with drawings in simple pencil, copied illustrations from books, created drawings from memory. Only after retiring Tatyana Rusinova got enough time for creativity. In the exhibition hall of the Gamayun Center, the real landscapes of the Urals coexist with bewitching fantastic paintings, portraits with everyday scenes.

Especially successful are the artist’s paintings, the heroes of which are vacationers in nature and genre portraits of children. Tatyana Rusinova’s paintings are saturated with color, which is typical of most “naive” authors. She pays a lot of attention to the accuracy of details, but the main thing is that her works, regardless of the image object, are filled with love.
