The exhibition center will introduce visitors to the works of various genres of pictorial art. Oil paintings, graphics complemented by works of applied art. It is worth noting that only 13 authors are members of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, the remaining artists are just starting their career in the profession.
According to the tradition that has developed over decades, the artists timed a gift to the inhabitants of Nakhodka to the City Day. For the first time such an exhibition was held back in 1976. All past years, city residents came to her to see the well-known landscapes of the city through the eyes of the authors of paintings.
At the opening ceremony of the festive exhibition, kind words were addressed to its participants, said by representatives of the city administration who were present at the opening day. According to the representative of the city’s culture department, Natalya Skuratovskaya, the exhibition is presented to visitors as an integral picture of Nakhodka and its surrounding nature. From the art critic Lyudmila Varlamova, representing the Primorsky art gallery, a proposal was received - to present the works of artists from Nakhodka to the city on the 65th anniversary of Vladivostok.
