Salon "At the Old Crossroads" opened the first exhibition of Oleg Vishenkov Automatic translate
KNITTING. The art salon of Irina Susanina, called “At the Old Crossroads”, is located on Gorky Street, in house number 79. Art connoisseurs are obliged to note this address in their memory, since since May 20 a personal exhibition of the artist, not very well known to the public, has been working in the salon.
At the opening exhibition, his painting is presented by the artist Oleg Vishenkov. He has been living in Ryazan since 1984. Here he received a professional education, graduating from the department of painting at the Ryazan Art College.
In recent years, his main occupation is the restoration of churches, but in his free time Oleg paints secular paintings, preferring landscapes and still lifes. Most often, he uses oil in his works, painting on canvas or cardboard. However, the painter does not shy away from experiments.
Among the works presented by the author, included in the exhibition, there are a number of works, mainly landscapes, performed in an unusual manner. They are written on paper with oil, but they also used pastel and gel. At the same time, oil, which is characterized by monumentality, acquires the transparency inherent in traditional watercolors.
Oleg writes his paintings with a broad brushstroke, so a static image takes on a dynamic. The artist uses a gray-brown gamut of colors in his landscapes, but sometimes bright colors appear in them, animating paintings. Oleg Vishenkov often participates in collective exhibitions, but the author presented his personal exhibition for the first time.
Irina Susanina noted that the author does not like to advertise her work too much, but now many will be able to get acquainted with his painting. The exhibition will work for a month, and any of the works can be purchased.
