… the created becomes immortal only if the sages are able to prove to the next generation that this creation is of value…
Vladimir Chikin
The harmony of the past and the future, this is exactly what the author shows in the first part of the photo-project “Philosophy of Harmony”.
The continuous interconnection, when values from the past smoothly pass into the future, is conveyed by the images of young ballerinas personifying the future and antiques that are associated with the past and the eternal. A beautiful classical art form - ballet that preserves its traditions and does not lose its relevance, confirms that Art rules the world, evoking positive emotions, positive feelings and bright thoughts. This is the philosophy of harmony.
The project involved Kremlin ballet dancers (Russia), antiques provided by the Heritage of the Century Gallery (Russia).
In the second part of the project "Ballet & City", the author reflects on the interaction of classical art with the complex structure of the modern metropolis. This is an artistic experiment that transfers classical ballet from a familiar theater environment to a completely different independent space, which, as a result, only enhances the perfection and beauty of ballet. Spectacular panoramas of Moscow, a workshop with light and shadow, unexpected solutions using window openings bring dynamic rhythm and give a symbolic meaning to each photo. Classics in a modern focus is another confirmation that ballet is an eternal and beautiful art.
The project involved ballet dancers "Moscow" (Russia), the background - unique views of the city of Moscow (Russia), the restaurant "Shakti Terrace", the shopping center "Novinsky Passage", Moscow (Russia).
