The regional exhibition hall was opened on the initiative of the regional culture department. In the southern territory of Russia it is the largest exhibition center. Up to eighty exhibitions of various levels are annually held in it, where art masters from various countries present their works.

However, most of the exhibition projects are created in order to familiarize visitors to the center with the work of the masters of the Kuban. Throughout its existence, the exhibition center forms its own collection of works of art.

Priority is given to paintings by artists of the Kuban. The collection contains the names of not only the leading artists of the Krasnodar Territory, but also young authors, whose talent is obvious from the first steps of creativity. In addition to painting, the collection also contains graphics and sculptures. Arts and crafts are also represented.

On the poster of the current exhibition its theme is indicated - “New arrivals. 2012-2013. " Some of the works presented were acquired by the exhibition hall, some of them were donated. Visitors to the exhibition can view more than 30 works of art, including paintings and graphic works.

The audience is attracted by a series of landscapes by artist Vladimir Syryatov. Of particular note is the large-scale work of Konstantin Lupanov, where neorealism and contemporary art are harmoniously combined. Among the names presented at the exhibition there are also well-known names - People’s Artist of the Russian Federation V.V. Korobeinikov, Honored Artist of Russia A.A. Parshkov.
