From November 5 to December 12, 2013, the Grand Setun Plaza business center hosts a personal exhibition of Lyubov Barykina’s Birth of Color Automatic translate
The biography of the artist Lyubov Barykina, a successful athlete, a master of sports of the international class in rhythmic gymnastics, is closely connected with great sport. In the 1990s, she was part of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team. In 2001-2003 she studied at the Folkwang-Hochschule Higher School in Essen (Germany) at the Department of Modern Dance. Then she continued her career in Germany as a coach of the country’s junior national rhythmic gymnastics team. Since 2011 - choreographer of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Festival "ALINA".
In parallel with her sports and dance career, Lyubov Barykina studied at the Dusseldorf Academy of Arts in the class of rector Marcus Lupertz, painter and sculptor, one of the most famous artists in Germany.
Since 2007, Lyubov Barykina began an active exhibition activity - at the annual exhibition of the Academy of Arts and the Royal Gallery (Düsseldorf), the K21 and Heartwork Museum of Modern Art (Düsseldorf), the Gecko, Ines Taube, Kunstagentin (Germany), MargotArt (Moscow) galleries. In 2010, the first solo exhibition "Magic of the Sky" was held.
The Birth of Color is the artist’s third solo exhibition. It presents paintings, united by the general idea of studying the light-air environment, the smooth flow of elements, changing the ratio of color accents.
“My painting is directly related to the perception of color and light,” says Lyubov Barykina. - For the past two years, I have been intensively engaged in landscape, considering the selected topic the most relevant for the realization of my capabilities. This is where I experiment with color one hundred percent. "
The opening program of the exhibition was attended by opera singer Vera Kononova, Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Yulia Barsukova, circus artist, juggler, Alexander Kulakov, world champion in sports acrobatics, finalist of the “Minutes of Glory” Alexey Khilya, gold medalist of the international circus festival in Wiesbaden, balancer, Eduard Gelazarov and others.
