The exhibition, representing the little-known works of Dali and Picasso, interested not only art lovers, but also ordinary residents of the city. Although this exhibition has been traveling in Russian cities for the third year, it is being demonstrated for the first time in Nizhny Novgorod.

To get into the museum hall, where the exhibition is located, it is necessary that the visitor be over sixteen years old - such an age limit was set by the project organizers. Unfortunately, younger Nizhny Novgorod residents will not be able to see the works of great masters.

All works presented in the exhibition are collected from frequent collections owned by art lovers in France and the USA. In total, 93 works by Picasso and Dali participate in the exhibition project. Among them are five series of etchings, drawings and lithographs.

A series of works, authored by Salvador Dali, illustrate the memoirs of the famous Casanova, as well as three plays created by the pen of the Marquis de Sade. The author’s series of works by Pablo Picasso is represented by his “California Album”, the series “Picasso and the Human Comedy”, as well as illustrations for “The Magnificent Cuckold” written by Fernand Crommelink.

According to Oleg Sorokin, the mayor of Nizhny Novgorod, who attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition, for all art lovers the opening of such an interesting exhibition is an important event. A sufficiently long time of its work will allow everyone to visit the exhibition.
